The home is located in the South Main Historic Neighborhood, near downtown in a wonderful area with other older historic homes.  The styles of these homes include Queen Annes, Bungalows, Foursquares, Traditional, Colonial, and Cottage.  The neighborhood is very active.  Each year our neighborhood has an Annual Neighborhood Block Party with a live band. We block off a neighborhood street, and it's a great time to meet neighbors, new and old.  We also just held a Neighborhood Garden Walk that included tours of 7 neighborhood gardens.  Many of our neighbors enjoy gardening and have great gardens in their yards.  The neighborhood just installed the first Village neighborhood sign near the entrance to South Main Street.  Sign Toppers, small metal signs that include our neighborhood logo and name have been installed at the top of our neighborhood street sign posts.  The South Main Historic Neighborhood is within walking distance to Village shops and restaurants, our library, senior center, post office, and the popular Firefly Coffeehouse.  Village schools are also within walking distance of the house.
